Use instructions
Proper care and maintenance of your uniform ensure its durability, color retention, and long-lasting performance. Follow these guidelines based on the material and color of your uniform.
COTTON UNIFORMS
White Cotton Uniforms:
- Before First Use: Wash separately in cold water to remove excess fabric treatments.
- Regular Washing: Machine wash at a maximum of 30°C (86°F) using a mild detergent. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners.
- Drying: Air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not tumble dry.
- Ironing: Use a medium heat setting if necessary. Avoid ironing over logos or embroidery.
Colored & Black Cotton Uniforms:
- Before First Use: Soak overnight in a mixture of cold water and vinegar to help set the color.
- Regular Washing: Machine wash inside out at a maximum of 40°C (104°F). Use liquid detergent for dark fabrics.
- Drying: Do not wring out. Hang or lay flat to dry in a well-ventilated space away from direct sunlight.
- Ironing: Use medium heat if needed, but avoid excessive heat on printed or embroidered areas.
POLYESTER UNIFORMS
White Polyester Uniforms:
- Washing: Machine wash at 30°C (86°F) using a mild detergent. Avoid chlorine bleach, as it can weaken the fibers.
- Drying: Air dry or tumble dry on low heat. Polyester dries quickly and should not be exposed to excessive heat.
- Ironing: Polyester rarely requires ironing, but if needed, use a low heat setting or a steamer.
Colored & Black Polyester Uniforms:
- Washing: Machine wash inside out at a maximum of 30°C (86°F) with a detergent designed for dark or synthetic fabrics. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners.
- Drying: Hang to dry or use a low-heat tumble dryer. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading.
- Ironing: Polyester generally does not require ironing. If necessary, use a very low-heat setting or a steamer.
STORAGE & GENERAL CARE
- Store uniforms in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to sweat and moisture to prevent odors and fabric deterioration.
- Fabric softeners are not recommended, as they can reduce breathability and fabric performance.
Incorrect washing or drying may lead to shrinkage, fading, or premature wear, which is not covered under warranty.

Karate Gi hayashi Kartamori
We have developed the HAYASHI competition gi Katamori exclusively for the high demands of the professional kata athlete. The result is a synthesis of visible dynamics, generous freedom of movement and fascinating materi- al strength.
For over a year the constantly modified designs at each stage of the development have been continuously tested and improved by our expe- rienced karateka team of consultants (World and European Champions) enabling us to offer once again a gi with the HAYASHI Katamori in terms of cut, material and performance Proces- sing meets the requirements of modern Kata competition.
Without exception all Karateka participating in the Katamori project were more than amazed about the final version of this Kata gi. The pants ́ cut with a traditional lace is pur- poseful inspired by the sensational HAYASHI Yuuga gi in hakama style that we have develo- ped in 2010. The especially produced material for Kata com- petitions (13 oz) made of 100% PREWASHED cotton offers not only an extreme freedom of movement due to its nature and the body - optimized HAYASHI cut, but also an expressive "SNAP" - effect.
