Hand wraps are essential for protecting your hands and wrists in combat sports like boxing, Muay Thai, and MMA. They provide support and reduce the risk of injuries during training and competition.

Types of Hand Wraps

1. Non-elastic (Cotton): Made of cotton for firm, non-stretch support.
2. Elastic: Made with polyester and elastane for added stretch, offering more flexibility.
3. Semi-elastic: A mix of cotton and elastic fibers, offering moderate stretch and support.

How to Use Hand Wraps

1. Preparation: Unroll the wraps, find the loop at the end, and start by placing it around your thumb.
2. For All Types:
   • Start at the wrist: Wrap tightly around the wrist for support.
   • Around the knuckles: Move across the back of your hand, covering your knuckles and wrapping a few times for protection.
   • Back to the wrist: Secure the wrist again for added stability.
   • Finish: Secure with Velcro or tuck in the end of the wrap.

Elastic & Semi-elastic wraps: Pull tighter for a snug fit as you wrap, ensuring comfort and flexibility.
Non-elastic wraps: Keep the wraps firm and snug, but avoid over-tightening.

Caring for Hand Wraps

• Washing: Machine wash in cold water in a laundry bag or hand wash with soap. Let them air dry – avoid using a dryer.
• Storage: Roll up the wraps and store in a breathable bag.
• Inspection: Check for damage regularly and replace wraps when they lose elasticity or start to fray.
