Material & Design
- Constructed with high-quality synthetic leather for durability and easy care.
- Includes foam padding in the knuckles and wrist area to absorb impact and provide protection.
- Equipped with Velcro straps to secure the gloves and provide a snug, comfortable fit.
How to Use Tsuki Gloves
-
Choose the Right Size:
- XS – Very small hands (youth or petite adults).
- S – Small hands (slim build).
- M – Medium hands (most average-sized adults).
- L – Large hands (broader hands and wrists).
-
XL – Very large hands (strong build).
Ensure the gloves fit snugly without restricting circulation or movement.
-
Putting On the Gloves:
Slide your fingers into the glove openings and adjust the fit so that the padding covers the knuckles. Ensure the glove is comfortable but secure. - Securing the Wrist:
Fasten the Velcro strap tightly around the wrist to prevent slippage during punches and maintain wrist stability. -
Use for the Right Sport:
- Karate: Primarily used in Kumite (sparring), where the Tsuki punch is a vital strike in combat.
- Kumite Competitions: Offers protection while delivering fast, powerful punches to the opponent.
How to Care for Tsuki Gloves
Proper care helps prolong the lifespan of your Tsuki gloves and keeps them in great condition.
-
Clean after each use: Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not soak them in water.
-
Air dry thoroughly: Let them dry naturally in a well-ventilated area. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight.
-
Avoid storing in closed spaces: Do not leave the gloves in a closed bag for extended periods, as this may lead to moisture buildup, odors, and bacteria growth. Store in a dry, ventilated area.
-
Odor prevention: Use deodorizing sprays, glove inserts, or silica gel packs to reduce moisture and keep the gloves fresh.
- Check for wear and tear regularly: Examine the gloves for signs of damage or wear, especially around the knuckle and wrist areas. Replace if padding becomes insufficient or if the stitching starts to fray.
