Description of Controls on the Panel

Set/Hold Button

• SET – Pressing this button repeatedly allows you to change the mode for setting various times. The first press causes the green "Training" indicator to blink, which signals the setting of the round time. The next press activates the red "Pause" indicator for setting the pause time. A further press makes the "Lap" segment blink, indicating the setting of the number of rounds.
• HOLD – When the countdown is running, this button pauses the countdown until it is pressed again.

Start/Stop Button

• Start/Stop – This button starts or stops the overall countdown. If this button is pressed at any time during the countdown, the device returns to its initial state, ready for a new start.
• Another function of this button is to increase the time when setting durations, as explained below.

Training Indicator

• When lit continuously, it indicates the countdown of a round or the default position. When blinking, it indicates the ability to set the round duration.

Pause Indicator

• When lit continuously, it indicates the countdown of a pause. When blinking, it indicates the ability to set the pause duration.

Time Display

• Displays the current set time or the time being counted down. If it blinks, the device is in countdown mode, but the countdown is paused.

Lap Display

• Displays the current round being counted down or the number of rounds set. If it blinks, it indicates the round setting mode.

Toggle Switch

• Located on the back of the device, this switch is used to disconnect the device when powered by a battery. If the device is powered by the mains, the switch can be in any position without affecting the device.

Device Function Description

Turning on the Device
When connected to the mains or powered by a battery and switched on with the toggle switch, the device initializes to its default state and is ready for use. If it does not behave correctly, disconnect it from the power source and reconnect it after 3 minutes.

Countdown
When the Start button is pressed, a single siren sound signals the start of the round countdown, and the green "Training" indicator lights up. The Lap display shows the number "1," indicating the first round is being counted down. The time counts down to zero.

After reaching zero, the siren sounds twice to indicate the countdown of the pause time, and the red "Pause" indicator lights up. The time counts down to zero again.

Once the pause time is completed, the siren sounds once to signal the start of the next round countdown, and the cycle repeats. This cycle continues for the number of rounds set.

At the end of the session, i.e., after completing the set number of rounds, the siren sounds three times, and the countdown stops. If the number of rounds is set to 0, the countdown continues indefinitely.

Setting the Duration of Pause and Round Times
Use the Set/Hold button to select the time you wish to set, indicated by the blinking corresponding indicator. For round time settings, the entire Lap segment blinks. Adjust the value using the Start/Stop button. Times increase in increments of 10 seconds up to 1 minute, then by 30-second increments.

After reaching 9:30, the time resets to 10 seconds. The number of rounds can be set in increments of 1, up to 9, and then resets to 1.
